Kent Cakes is a boutique cake studio specializing in delicious cakes with elegant, handcrafted designs. Owner and chef Alyssa Olivia Kent grew up with an appreciation for baking and pastries, as her family has been in the business for three generations. Her background in art is evident in all her designs, having graduated with a Bachelors in Art History from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She then went on to attend the prestigious French Pastry School in Chicago, Illinois where she graduated from the L'art de la Patisserie Program. Since then she has worked in some of the most world renowned cake studios in New York City, as well as having taught classes on Cake Decorating.
